Who We Are

My Testimony

I grew up in San Angelo, TX, with my three brothers. Our parents worked hard to provide for us, but we often went without. We were a lower-middle-class family living in a three-bedroom home on the north side of town. My mother was an immigrant, and my father was a war veteran who had also served time in prison.

We were raised in church, so I always knew about God. However, when I turned 18, I started doing things my way. I began partying hard every weekend, indulging in alcohol and drugs. Eventually, I was invited to The Door San Angelo, where I was challenged about the life I was living.

For several years, I lived a lukewarm life for God, going back and forth in my faith. My friends, family, and pastor continuously challenged me, and eventually, I broke free from the cycle of being half in and half out. I began rapping, preaching, and sharing the message of Jesus with everyone.

I married the girl of my dreams, and together we now have two boys. I went all in for Christ, and I haven’t looked back since!

As they like to say here in College Station.. HOWDY YALL! Im a small town girl raised in a little place named Sonora Tx. Growing up I was really involved in CCD classes (Catholic School) where I actually learned to read and write in Spanish during my summers in Mexico. My father, being Born and raised in Sonora Tx and my mother, being an immigrant from Mexico. We relocated to San Angelo Tx my 7th grade year. I played sports throughout my school years. Despite being from a big family that was very tight knit there was a rebelious spirit inside me that yearned to venture out into the world and seek for more. It was then during my teen years throughout my adult years I became involved with drugs and people with high influence in the drug world. Trouble always seemed to follow wherever I would go. I began to get involved in toxic relationships & at the age of 19 i had my first born son and managed the struggles of being a single mom. One day at the age of 21 my best friend told me about a church she had found that could change my life. She told me about this Jesus that I once had heard about. After so much resistance I finally gave in. After YEARS of being halfway in and halfway out, I finally surrendered completely my life to God. I met my best friend of 10years whom later on became to be my husband. We got married at The Door San Angelo where we went on taking ministry one step at a time.
